Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, with the ability to navigate various routes to take cars to and from MOT Stations, Service centres, customers and any other cars that need dropping off and picking up. This role requires excellent communication skills and the capability to operate different types of vehicles, including vans. A background in motor trade is advantageous.

At the same time you will be expected to help with the up keep and maintenance of the business with small tasks to help out others

Responsibilities

Safely drive and operate vehicles, including vans to transport for MOT , Service , body shops and customers Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Help with the upkeep and cleanliness of the business Communicate effectively with workshops to highlight any potential issues. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary documentation such as invoices for each trip Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with appropriate endorsements. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a Motortrade role is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks is an asset. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work varied hours as required by delivery and drop off schedules.

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
