Role outlined

The key to this role is being incredibly efficient with your time, organised and high levels of attention to detail to both internal teams and to our customers. To ensure that our products are loaded ensuring items correspond with delivery/picking notes and that care is taken to stack using the correct lifting and handling techniques. At the start of each day, prepare a route sheet identifying the day's delivery locations and collections in route order. To check collection notes to ensure correct goods are collected in line with company process. Liaise with internal departments to ensure that customers are notified if there are any delivery problems/delays occur on route. To ensure that all signatures, collections etc. are valid and correspond with the delivery note and any discrepancies are resolved whilst you are at the customer's premises. Completion of all relevant administration during the process of delivery. Maintain delivery vehicle, undertaking daily vehicle check with regard to tyre pressure, fluid levels, and cleaning. To drive safely and comply with all road markings, signs and any driving/parking restrictions.
PLEASE NOTE - Some heavy lifting will be required, within H&S standards.

What level of experience will I need?

A full UK manual driving licence (for at least 12 months) No more than 3 points/endorsements on your driving licence A warm, caring and welcoming personality Strong work ethic and the willingness to go the extra mile.
