We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our team on a part-time self-employed basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving to and from suppliers and customers, collecting and delivering vehicles all around the country using either trade plates or a single car transporter. Excellent customer service skills are essential in this role. This role involves operating a single car transporter or driving on our fully insured trade plates. The Driver will be responsible for collecting and delivering vehicles, navigating delivery routes efficiently, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Duties
Operate a single car transporter or use of our fully insured trade plates for the collection or delivery of vehicles to various locations.
Load and unload cars safely and efficiently from the transporter, ensuring proper handling.
Navigate assigned routes effectively to ensure timely collections/deliveries.
Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery or collection points.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance.
Local driving to and from our workshops/bodyshops for servicing, MOTs and repairs.
Assist in maintaining our forecourt.
Requirements
Experience as a driver or in a similar role.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.
Valid full UK driver's license.
Excellent driving record with no violations or accidents in recent years.
