Petworth Places is made up of several teams of dedicated people building a destination hospitality and food and beverage business. Our core businesses are located in the beautiful South Downs market town of Petworth, West Sussex, and the historic market town of West Malling in Kent.

The Hungry Guest is part of a group of companies established in 2010 and is a multiple-award-winning food brand (a double winner of UK delicatessen and farm shop of the year), The group also includes E. Street Bar & Grill, The Angel Inn, Augustus Brandt, an interiors and antiques business, and Newlands House Gallery, an exciting new gallery and exhibition space.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting a Driver to deliver products and goods safely and efficiently to designated locations within a set timeframe. We deliver to a range of customers, as well as making weekly collections from our farm in Kent.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

To ensure proper handling in a safe and hygienic manner, maintaining the deliveries with a high standard of customer care. Ensure that your allocated vehicle is maintained in a clean and hygienic condition at all times. You manage your delivery route effectively, taking rest breaks in accordance with your route and legal requirements.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED:

Candidates will preferably have some relevant experience in a similar role although this is not essential. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic with a positive 'can-do' attitude and pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer service. A clean driving license is essential and a knowledge of manual handling desirable.
