Overview

We are looking for a Driveron a permanent, full-time basis to join our friendly team in the

Poole

Branch. This is a key role as your focus will be supporting the Branch by delivering orders to our local trade customer base in an efficient and prompt manner providing 1st class delivery service. This role may also involve picking & packing orders and helping within our stores team as and when required.

Key Responsibilities

Driving the Company vehicle in a safe and legal manner always ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements.

Ensuring all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the branch.

Ensuring the customer receives their deliveries in excellent condition every time.

Collecting customer returns in line with given instructions and times.

Customer service. Dealing with customer issues in a polite and effective manner.

Ensuring the van is always kept clean and tidy.

You may be required to undertake other duties within the branch, in line with the needs of the business, such as warehouse duties and stock take.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications

Full and clean UK driver's licence and be over 25.

Minimum of 2 years of delivery driver experience.

Previous experience working in a multi-site or distributer environment is desired.

What we can offer you:

Our Branch hours are 08:00 to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, you will work 40 hours per week
