Driver (Part-Time) - CoOptions

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Hours: 17.5 hours per week

Vehicle: Provided

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

Morning: 8:00am - 10:00am

Afternoon: 3:00pm - 4:30pm

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Driver to provide safe, punctual transport for

adults with a learning disability, enabling them to attend activities, social enterprises

and community-based opportunities.

This is a weekday, split-shift role with consistent hours and no evenings or

weekends.

Key Responsibilities

Transport individuals with a learning disability from their homes to and from activities, work placements and community settings Ensure passengers' safety, comfort and dignity at all times Communicate clearly, politely and professionally with individuals, families and staff Carry out basic vehicle safety checks and report any issues promptly Follow agreed routes, timetables and safeguarding procedures

About You

You will:

A full UK driving licence, with a driving record suitable for insurance purposes Be reliable, punctual and safety-conscious Have good communication skills and a calm, friendly and polite approach Be comfortable working with people with a learning disability Be able to work independently and responsibly
Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
