Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving, with experience in delivering and collecting cars from customers good understanding of mechanical operations. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in various environments, including warehouse settings. A flatbed driving experience is advantageous for this position.

Responsibilities

Operate vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure timely delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and mechanical soundness. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.

Experience

Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type. Prior experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues on the road. Familiarity with flatbed operations is an advantage. Previous warehouse experience will be considered an asset. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with team members and clients.
