Job Description

Martello transport is a well established company, with over 150 vehicles, providing nationwide container haulage services.

We currently have a vacancy for a Driver Trainer / Resource Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver driver training, inductions, and ongoing assessments in line with company and UK regulatory standards. Promote best practices in safety, compliance, and fuel-efficient driving. Monitor driver performance and provide coaching or refresher training where required. Plan, allocate, and manage driver resources to ensure efficient use of fleet and manpower. Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of drivers. Liaise with operations teams to align resource planning with business needs.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a driver trainer, transport manager, or similar role in logistics. Strong knowledge of UK road transport regulations, Driver CPC, and container logistics. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to balance training delivery with effective resource planning. HGV Class 1 Licence
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
