We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical operations and have experience in various driving capacities, including flatbed and van driving. Responsibilities

Operate vehicles safely and efficiently, including flatbed lorries and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Assist with loading and unloading goods at both the warehouse and delivery sites, ensuring proper handling of items. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and maintenance for the vehicle used in deliveries.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with appropriate endorsements for commercial driving. Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role, preferably with flatbed or van driving experience. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within a warehouse environment. A strong commitment to safety practices while on the road and during loading/unloading activities.
