Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving and delivery services, demonstrating excellent communication skills and mechanical knowledge. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Duties

Operate various types of vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transport. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with staff and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients at delivery points.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type (preferable full HGV) Digital Tacho Card Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on vehicles as needed. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules. Pay: 15.00-19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week
