Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking

Driver & Stores Support Operative

to join the Funky Fridays team. This is a hands-on, varied role supporting our warehouse, vehicles, and live event operations across some of the UK's biggest festivals and events.

This position suits someone with experience (or an interest) in

bar work, kitchen porter duties, or junior chef roles

, who enjoys practical, physical work and being part of a fast-paced team.

Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Event Duties

Picking and preparing stock for events Loading vans and trailers safely and efficiently Ensuring correct equipment, food, and supplies are prepared Maintaining clean, organised stores and warehouse areas

Event Support (On the Job)

Driving to and from events (where required) Dependent on skill levels and area of interst you will be supporting a busy area such bar, kitchen or front-of-house teams General event logistics and support as needed

Post-Event Duties

Unloading vans and returning stock to stores Cleaning and resetting trucks and equipment Waste management and stock rotation Reporting any damages, shortages, or maintenance issues

What We're Looking For

Full UK driving licence (essential) Reliable, punctual, and physically fit Team player with a positive attitude Comfortable working long days during busy event periods Experience in bar work, KP, catering, or junior chef roles is an advantage Basic food hygiene knowledge preferred (training available)
