Working as part of the driver training unit, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a range of driver training courses to new and existing officers, to enable them to continue to lead the UK's fight to cut serious and organised crime.

Job description
Please note: This is full time working over 4 days (Monday to Thursday, flexible on bank holiday weeks). This requires flexibility and travel (including overnight stays). This will be determined by business needs, however we aim to keep travel to a minimum where possible.
As a Driver Trainer, you will be responsible for creating and delivering training across the the UK. Your varied duties mean that every day will bring a new challenge. The often time-critical nature of your activities will mean you must be able to multi-task and prioritise. Driver training roles are customer service focused, including providing guidance and advice to colleagues and internal customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, develop and deliver learning programmes using a variety of training methods aligned with College of Policing standards.
Deliver compliant driver training across the UK.
Ensure records are kept in a timely manner and in line with Learning Development and Talent (LD&T), NCA and College of Policing (CoP) requirements.
Act as a subject matter expert for driving with the Agency.
Work collaboratively within LD&T, the agency and wider law enforcement community.
Role model continuous professional development and maintain CPD.
Adapt teaching styles to suit the needs of the students to help them learn.

Must be able to work within the driver training team and wider LD&T, contributing to the management and delivery of NCA driver training.
Ability to physically work remotely and travel for training delivery if required.

Effectively manages time and workload and escalates issues - ensuring tasks are completed to agreed standards and timelines.
