Role Overview

DSL is seeking a

reliable, experienced Driver

to support our nationwide operations. This role is

primarily driving-based

and would suit a

mature individual

who takes pride in their work, values responsibility, and is comfortable working independently.

The position involves planned UK travel to multiple locations, including early morning starts when required. When not driving, you will provide occasional support within our warehouse and returns operation.

A

full, clean UK driving licence is essential

Key Driving Responsibilities (Primary Focus)

Driving across the UK to visit multiple locations as required Early morning starts (from 1am / 3am) depending on routes and operational needs Loading and unloading stock related to delivery and returns Ensuring vehicles are operated safely, responsibly, and professionally at all times Representing DSL positively while on the road
Warehouse & Support Duties (Secondary)

Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles Processing returned stock using IT systems Supporting the returns team during peak periods Operating MHE equipment where required (FLT licence advantageous but not essential)
Skills & Experience

Full, clean UK driving licence (essential) Confident driving long distances across the UK Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Good communication and time management skills Previous experience in a fast-paced or FMCG environment advantageous Flexible and dependable approach to work
