Driver / Warehouse Operative
Job Description
Global International Trading is a manufacturer of blinds, based in Needham Market near Ipswich, we are looking for hardworking, motivated, and energetic person to join our Warehouse team in Ipswich as Warehouse Operator and Driver working Monday to Friday (7.30 to 16.00).
The position requires a dynamic individual who can handle their responsibilities efficiently and with confidence.
Duties include collaborating with the warehouse team in loading and unloading material. Another key task will be the safe driving of vehicles to transport materials from our warehouse to the production building. As well as the collection of merchandise at the facilities of our suppliers or the delivery of merchandise to our clients, which is why compliance with traffic regulations is required.
Requirements and
Qualifications:
Physical ability to lift heavy objects safely.
Valid driver's license (C1/7.50 Ton + Driver CPC card is essential).
Knowledge of traffic regulations and commitment to quality service.
Forklifts License (advantageous).
Clean driving license
Personal Competencies:
Have a flexible approach.
Positive attitude to work.
Respectful and helpful to others.
Must be physically fit as heavy lifting of items will be involved.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Flexibility to adapt to different tasks.
The Warehouse Operator/Driver must be able to demonstrate that they can work and communicate effectively with all production, warehouse and office personnel.
