Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our IPAF + Accredited team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to safety while ensuring timely deliveries. This role involves driving a pick up and trailer to deliver our fleet of Powered Access, including Electric Scissor Lifts and Mast Booms in and around the North West of England, therefore must be based within easy reach of our Warrington depot.

Duties

Operate delivery vehicle to transport goods safely and efficiently. Ensure timely delivery and collections to designated locations while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery and collection schedules and any potential delays. Load and unload goods, which may involve heavy lifting, ensuring all items are secured for transport. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transit. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including pre delivery inspections, routine maintenance and organisation of fleet.

Qualifications

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred with towing working under tacho regulations. Previous experience & IPAF License holder is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus but not essential. A commitment to safety practices and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.

Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year
