Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting various used cars safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of driving regulations and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and team members. The Driver will operate various types of vehicles. The role will also include the collection of vehicles which need appraising and test driving/inspecting so a good knowledge of cars is essential.

Arranging logistics and driving vehicles to preparation, MOT, service centres, Valet and customers.

Responsibilities

Safely drive vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations. Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling of items. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients.

Experience

Previous experience as a Vehicle Delivery Driver is advantageous. Previous experience in appraising and inspecting vehicles beneficial. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
