Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as required. Duties

Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of heavy lifting when necessary. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Ensure that the delivery vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Requirements

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Must be punctual, organised, and able to work independently.
