Overview

We are currently seeking a Delivery Person to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering dairy products (milk, Cheese etc) to residential customers and local businesses

The loading and lifting of heavy containers onto and off vehicles in all weather conditions is an integral part of the work as well as long shifts walking to customer houses from the vehicle and you will need to demonstrate that you are sufficiently capable of such work.

You will have a can-do attitude, be able to work on your own initiative and be physically fit to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Full training will be provided

you will be responsible to load, unload your vehicle -

record any customer payments/amendments on 'delivery sheet'

Hours - 6-8 per shift - 3 shifts per week -

work flexible between 10 pm and 7 am

Example of shift pattern - start Sunday/Tues/Thursday/Friday start time approx 10pm finish time approx 4 am -

These hours are very flexible (Products need to be on the doorstep no later than 7 am)

Salary negotiable - after training -

May be required to cover Holiday leave

Opportunity for additional shifts per week

Duties

- Carry out deliveries in a timely and efficient manner
- Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle
- follow ad hoc requests from customers in relation to their order

- able to follow clear written/verbal instructions
- Drive safely and adhere to traffic rules and regulations
- Handle heavy lifting when loading and unloading items

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is advantageous
-clean driving license required with minimum of 5 years driving experience
- Ability to drive various delivery vehicles safely
- Excellent communication skills
- Capability to handle heavy lifting tasks

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 15.00 per hour
