We are looking for a dedicated

Driver

to join our wholesale drinks team in Cannock, delivering goods across the

Midlands

. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in safe driving, efficient deliveries, and providing

EXCEPTIONAL customer service

, all while being prepared for significant

heavy lifting

.

Your Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

Operating company vehicles, including vans and forklift trucks, to deliver goods to various locations around the Midlands. Ensuring products are delivered on time and safely, strictly following all traffic regulations. Communicating clearly with staff and customers about delivery schedules and any issues that might come up. Carrying out routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to keep everything running smoothly.

Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods, which will involve considerable heavy lifting, including deliveries to and from pub cellars.

Keeping accurate records of all deliveries, including mileage, fuel used, and confirmations. Diligently following all health and safety guidelines, both on the road and at delivery sites. Undertaking

warehouse work

as part of your driving duties.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

Previous experience as a

delivery driver

or in a similar role. Familiarity with warehouse operations. A

valid driving licence

. Strong driving skills and a

clean driving record

.

Excellent communication skills

and a real commitment to delivering

exceptional customer service

when interacting with customers and colleagues. The

ability to perform heavy lifting

as required by the job, especially for cellar deliveries.
Standard working hours are:

08:30 - 16:30 Monday - Friday

09:00 - 13:00 Saturdays

Given the nature of our work, there will be times when a slightly later finish is required.
