Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
Experience with various types of vehicles and is highly desirable.
Duties
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, checking for damage or discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate effectively with staff and vessel Crew. Provide support for the Engineering Team, when required. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic mechanical maintenance as needed. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns from clients.
Experience
Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with minor vehicle repairs and maintenance. Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and customers effectively. A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type is essential. A Marine Engineering background would be desirable, but not essential.

Pay: Up to 25,500.00 per year
