Summary

We are seeking a hands on driver to handle, process and deliver our products. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing feet and bungs into our components and ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and functionality. This position is vital to our mission of providing exceptional educational furniture. You will working from our site in Hull and our site on Hedon road in Hull using our transport.

Responsibilities

Transport goods from our factory to our powder-coating plant Install feet and bungs into components Ensure all fittings are completed to a high standard of quality. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding project progress and any issues that arise.

Requirements

Proven experience as a fitter or in a similar role within manufacturing or engineering. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Experience with delivery or driving is a plus but not mandatory. Willingness to work in a warehouse environment as needed. Fork truck licence preferrable but will also be offered on the job.
