Overview


We are seeking a Driver/Fitter to join our dynamic team. We are a Transport and Installations company that has built reputation on precision, safety and a relentless dedication to customer satisfaction with a passion for delivering excellence.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the transportation of cargo safely from one location to another with the ability to be able to install the items based on the client's scope of works and skill sets. The role may include working a variety of settings including delivery, logistics, transportation and installations.

The ideal candidate must be able to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, keep in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress in order for the office team be able to manage our customers' expectations, update tracking management systems.

Responsibilities

of a Driver/Fitter:



Driving

:
Safely drive company vehicles, following traffic laws and regulations

Ensuring daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure

Deliver goods to customers and ensure all orders are completed safely and to a high standard. Ensuring all documentation is completed including clients paperwork, POD's and images.

Ensuring that the vehicles are fuelled using the company fuel cards provided

Loading and unloading

:
Load and unload vehicles safely and help with any associated tasks within the warehouse and onsite

Assist in the warehouse to meet the needs of the business when necessary

Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene

Installations:


Working within both commercial and domestic sites (commercial shopfronts, building sites, retail outlets, designer outlets, offices, hospitals, schools and domestic houses).

Regularly visiting retailers, updating and maintaining display stands and point of sale.

Ensure appropriate reporting is done for installations including before and after images, including flagging any damages or reports to be made.

Complete and report comprehensive site surveys / audits

Required skills and qualifications:



Qualifications:

Driver's license, Previous driving experience

Customer service:

Being able to deal with customers onsite and ensuring a professional manner is maintained at all times.

Communication:

Good communication is required with the office to ensure expectations are met according to the needs of the business and also clients.

Efficient:

Ensure deliveries and installations are completed within a timely manner or at requested times

Attention to detail:

Being able to adapt on-site to solve any issues that may arise within reason.
