Job Summary:

Westminster Maintenance and Construction Ltd is seeking a reliable and versatile Driver/Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the transportation of appliances, materials, and equipment, as well as performing various handyman tasks, including gardening, cleaning, and general maintenance work. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and efficiently to ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Duties:

- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up appliances and materials.

- Plan and follow efficient routes to maximise productivity and minimise fuel consumption.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, ensuring all items are accounted for.

- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform minor maintenance as needed.

- Must be able to drive a manual vehicle, not just an automatic.

Handyman Duties:

- Perform general handyman tasks, including but not limited to:

- Assembling and installing appliances and furniture.

- Conducting minor repairs and maintenance on various equipment and structures.

- Troubleshooting and resolving basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues. a very good understanding of all above.

Gardening and Landscaping:

- Maintain gardens and landscaping by mowing lawns, trimming bushes, and weeding.

- Bin area cleaning if and when it's required.

- Ensure proper care of plants, including watering, fertilising, and pruning.

Cleaning Duties:

- Clean and maintain driveways, pathways, and outdoor spaces to ensure a tidy appearance.

- Wash and clean windows, both inside and out, to enhance building aesthetics.

- Perform deep cleaning tasks as required, including power washing and surface cleaning.

Inventory Management:

- Manage inventory of furniture and maintenance supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.

- Assist in tracking and reporting any shortages or needed repairs to the supervisor to ensure that operations run smoothly.

Software Utilisation:

- Use Joblogic software to complete tasks efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper documentation and task management.

General Maintenance:

- Undertake all general maintenance tasks as required, which may include projects and empty flat repairs.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with working hours on weekends if required. Overtime is available.
