About Us

Fifields Construction are a leading construction and principal contractor based in Exeter, Devon delivering high end building schemes and packages in the commercial, industrial, healthcare and educational sectors. Established over 20 years ago, our work ranges from refurbishments, new builds and extensions, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects within specified time frames, on budget and to the highest standard of quality.

As a Driver/Labourer, you will support the site team in transporting materials and equipment from our stores and suppliers. You will also be required to assist on site when not driving or collecting materials and equipment.

Your responsibilities will include,

- Collection and delivery of materials, tools and equipment.

- Assistance on site.

- Assistance with maintenance of storeroom, materials stock, equipment.

- Removal and disposal of waste materials/building waste.

- Issuing of waste transfer notes.

You will be based on various sites around Devon and our Exeter office. You will be required to travel between the office, sites in Devon and our suppliers and merchants. Working hours will be 8:00am to 4:45pm.

What We're Looking For:

We welcome applicants who are interested in working or have worked in the construction industry. If you are motivated, can work to an organised system and have previous experience in the construction industry we would like to hear from you. Additionally you will need to have,

- Excellent driving skills and organisation.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Ability to work as part of a team and manage time effectively.

- Experience in the construction industry is desirable.

- An understanding of construction materials, processes and health and safety regulations.
