Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in both warehouse operations and driving. This role involves delivering goods safely and efficiently, ensuring excellent communication with clients and team members. The Driver will be responsible for operating a Sprinter Curtain Sider, while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicle, to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working order. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and vehicle logs. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Assist with warehouse duties as needed.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or Van Driver is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients. A valid commercial driving licence is required for this position.
