Overview

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable

Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative

to join our logistics team. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely and efficiently deliver goods to customers, while also assisting with loading, unloading, and general warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organised, and comfortable with manual handling. This position involves regular lifting, driving, and supporting warehouse activities to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

Drive company vehicles to deliver goods to customers in a safe and timely manner Hand-load and unload the van, ensuring items are secured correctly for transport Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery Support shipping and receiving operations within the warehouse Use manual handling techniques and equipment to move materials safely Complete delivery paperwork and ensure accurate documentation Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse and delivery vehicles Follow all health and safety procedures at all times Assist with general warehouse duties such as organising stock and stacking items Report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly

Qualifications

Valid driving licence (essential) Previous driving or warehouse experience is preferred but not essential Forklift licence is desirable but not required Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely Good time management and organisational skills Physically fit and able to work on your feet Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-38,000.00 per year
