DRIVER ROLE

Lucketts of Watford has part time Driver work available in your local areas. Monday to Friday, two shifts per day, morning & afternoon (07:30am - 09:30am and 14:30pm - 16:30pm)

We seek drivers to transport special needs & vulnerable children in our vehicles, from home to school & in the afternoon, school to home. As a driver you will have primary responsibility for the safety & well being of your passengers. On most school runs a passenger assistant will also be with you to take care of the children on the journey.

Key Responsibilities

- To transport children to and from school during term time, 5 days a week. Monday to Friday.

- To make sure passengers are picked up and dropped off at the specified times & locations.

- To obey all traffic laws, at all time.

- Assist students getting in & out of the vehicle, if required.

- Attend any safeguarding or training as required.

- To maintain a clean & mechanically sound vehicle at all times. The company will organise any work required, to maintain the vehicles road worthiness in conjunction with the driver.

Key Requirements

No previous experience necessary as full training will be provided, but you must:

- Have held a full UK driving license for at least 3 years.

- Good command of the spoken English language and ability to write short basic notes.

- A friendly and positive attitude, enjoy working with children and be reliable.

- A calm and patient attitude.

- You will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and pass a group 2 medical assessment. You will be required to pass a Local Authority Private Hire Driver Test & a Driving Assessment.

- To work with your passenger assistant in a collaborative manner.
