Job description;
Loading and unloading
Navigation: help plan routes, navigate, and advise the driver on diversions.
Delivery paperwork: help ensure that all delivery paperwork is completed.
Customer service: communicate with customers before and during delivery.
Vehicle maintenance: may assist with vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
Parking: act as banksmen for drivers parking in tight spaces or sharp corners.
Removing packaging: packaging and place items at the customer's request.
Obtaining signatures: Driver's mates may obtain delivery signatures from customers.
Responsibilities may vary depending on the goods being transported
