Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Shop Assistant /Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting shop operations ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of customer service. This position requires a blend of practical skills and effective communication ,answering phone calls,writing/taking insructions from customers and to assist with various tasks including preparing containers for water, maintaining conditioning of flowers and foliage driving and shop duties.Following the guidelines of operation to keep everything running smoothly.

Duties

Assist in the daily operations of the shop, ensuring a clean and organised environment. Drive company van for deliveries and pickups as required. Support shop activities, including loading and unloading goods, inventory management, and stock replenishment. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to provide exceptional service and resolve any inquiries. Perform basic mechanical tasks as needed, utilising mechanical knowledge to assist with van maintenance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing all duties.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential. Valid driving licence with experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial. Strong mechanical knowledge is an asset for assisting with equipment-related tasks. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and customers. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. A clean licence is expected
