- Vehicle Driver / Valeter

To clean and prepare vehicles to a high standard. To carry out valeting of customer vehicles as required. To maintain vehicle preparation areas in a clean and tidy condition. To deliver and collect vehicles as instructed.
Objectives and Key Tasks - Customer Satisfaction

Ensure all vehicles are prepared, cleaned, and delivered to the highest standard.
Main Job Functions

Clean and prepare vehicles as directed by Line Managers or authorised personnel. Wash and valet all vehicles as required. Deliver and collect vehicles on a regular basis, including from client premises and other locations. Maintain in keeping internal and external work areas in a clean and tidy condition at all times. Report any damage, defects, or component deficiencies. Maintain courtesy cars in good condition. Report any irregularities within the vehicle cleaning area. Pass completed job packs to the front desk team following each valet. Carry out additional upgrade valets when required. Collect customer insurance excess fees as agreed with the insurance company and customer. Ensure correct information regarding vehicle checks is obtained prior to final handover of a vehicle. Comply with COSHH requirements and adhere to all Health & Safety and Bodyshop standards.
Experience, Qualifications, and Training

Full driving licence is essential. Training in the use of solvents, abrasive cleaning materials, and cleaning equipment. Awareness of legislation governing the use of unregistered or untaxed vehicles on public highways. Previous experience in an accident repair facility or similar environment is desirable. Ability to work to deadlines.
