Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse, Driver and all around branch assistant to join our team and be an all rounder and valuable member of our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for warehouse operations, handling materials, trade counter stock management and delivering goods efficiently and safely. They are also required to be flexible and agile in a varying business which looks to offer a reactive service to it's loyal customer base. There is massive potential for progression within the team into trade counter and sales roles. We are looking for an all rounder that will offer our customers a friendly service upon delivery, are meticulous with attention to detail and an excellent team player.

Duties

Handle materials including picking, packing, loading, and unloading goods Assist with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of items Conduct stock replenishment and organise storage areas for optimal accessibility Drive company 3.5T van to deliver goods to designated locations, adhering to safety standards. Have a flexible approach to the day and help offer the business collection and deliveries to help our customers and fulfil order Assist with stock counts and stock management Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and deliveries Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times

Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse operations or management system utilisation Valid forklift licence is desirable Knowledge of materials handling, stock control, and shipping & receiving procedures Mechanical knowledge or experience in construction is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management Valid driving licence with a clean driving record for delivery routes Good understanding of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: From 27,000.00 per year
