Full UK driver's license.

Previous experience as a warehouse operative and or delivery driver or in a similar role would be preferred

Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order verification and documentation

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Reports to:

Regional Manager & Branch Supervisor

Outline Duties:

Your duties shall be a combination of driving and warehouse to support the other team members but primarily warehouse.

You will also be responsible for supporting the administration function when required.

You will be capable of performing all branch duties including, driving, warehouse picking, and general paperwork.

Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods from the warehouse to designated locations, with manual lifting involved.

Assist with loading and unloading of products using pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual labor.

Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.

Verify the accuracy of orders before loading and upon delivery.

Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.

Complete the necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery.

Have a good knowledge and understanding of company products, on-the-job training will be provided.

Additional hours where necessary to support all required branch activities.

Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.

General:

We have a small warehouse team, and it is therefore essential that all members of the team be prepared to help each other in times of need. This means that a flexible attitude to the duties to be carried out is essential; providing cover for other members of the team will be a requirement of this position.

All holidays must be carefully coordinated with the other members of the team; only one member of the team may be on holiday at any point in time (except during fixed shut-down periods)
