Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. You will be responsible for the efficient and safe management of goods within the warehouse. This is a hands on role that requires a proactive approach and a willingness to help with various tasks to ensure smooth operations. You will also be responsible for deliveries to construction sites across the UK including dismantling / palletising and loading of goods to be returned back to our Warehouse.

Duties

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Loading & unloading incoming & outgoing deliveries. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stocking and organisation of products within the warehouse. Picking materials for customers orders. Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working environment in compliance with health & safety regulations. Safely & efficiently transport goods to designated locations within an assigned area. Handle & deliver / collect products accurately, maintaining their quality & condition. Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a positive & professional manner. Plan & execute efficient routes, utilizing GPS and route optimization software Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations and company safety standards.

Physical fitness & the ability to lift and move heavy objects (max 25kgs) Strong organisational & time management skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team Knowledge of construction materials is beneficial. A reliable & hardworking attitude Strong communication skills A Valid forklift truck license A full clean UK driving license Confident in securing loads & towing a trailer. CSCS card (desirable)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
