Driver/Warehouse Operative - Manchester Service Centre

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours (times to be agreed)

Training:

Full product training and support provided

Righton Blackburns, a leading UK supplier of metals and plastics, is seeking a dependable Driver/Warehouse Operative for our Warrington site. This dual-role involves local deliveries and warehouse duties, ensuring efficient handling and movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities

Driving

Deliver products safely and professionally Load/unload vehicles using forklifts and other equipment Secure loads and manage delivery schedules Maintain accurate delivery records and follow traffic laws Represent the company positively at customer sites

Warehouse

Pick, pack, and process orders accurately Load vehicles in line with regulations Organise stock and inspect goods Receive and place incoming materials Operate machinery and maintain a clean, safe workspace Support continuous improvement of warehouse operations

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 2 licence with clean record Warehouse/delivery experience preferred Physically fit and safety-conscious Forklift licence (preferred) Strong communication, time management, and IT skills
