About us:

We are a dynamic and growing manufacturing and distribution company with multiple depots across the UK. Our Somerset depot, located near Taunton, is seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver/Warehouse Operator to join our team and support our continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery: Safely deliver products to a variety of business and end-user customers across the South West region, ensuring timely and efficient service.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service at all times, going above and beyond to meet customer needs and resolve any issues that may arise during deliveries.

Coordination: Work closely with the warehouse team to prepare and load deliveries, and communicate with customers to update them on delivery times or address any concerns.

Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the delivery van, ensuring it is always prepared for the next delivery route.

Warehouse Support: Assist the warehouse staff in picking and packing orders when not on delivery, contributing to the smooth operation of the depot.

Qualifications and Skills:

Driving Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in a driver or delivery role, with a full UK driving licence held for at least one year. No more than six points on your licence.

Customer Focus: Strong customer service skills with a commitment to going the extra mile for our customers.

Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Teamwork: Friendly, approachable, and able to work well in a team environment.

Problem Solving: A proactive "can do" attitude with strong problem-solving skills.

Flexibility: Willingness to be flexible with working hours to meet the demands of the business.
