Drivers and Warehouse staff are a vital part of our supply chain process ensuring our customers have a positive experience of the company.

The role will be varied with responsibility covering all aspects of the vehicle, picking checking, and packing of goods.

In this role you will need to ensure the right products are delivered to the right location on time.

Effective communication skills will play an important part of the role as you will need to liaise with other internal departments, branches, and customer.

WHAT DO WE ASK FROM YOU?

Carry out daily and weekly check of the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy condition while also maintaining the cleanliness of the interior and exterior. Pick and check goods using the paperwork to ensure they are correct prior to loading the vehicle. Loading the van ensuring the goods are safely and securely stored. Deliver goods to specific destination using established routes while also planning new routes to specific destinations as dictated by the delivery note. Work within the quality and health and safety procedures to maintain a high compliance level. Ensuring the customer always receives an elevated level of customer service. Be willing and available to help with all aspects of day to day running of the warehouse when not making deliveries. Goods in and goods out picking and packing will be required. Maintaining tidiness of the warehouse and external yard area. Assisting with stock takes when required. A willingness to attend training sessions both on site and at training providers. Other duties may be required

Qualifications / Experience

Driving license essential CPS and / or HGV license would be an advantage Manual handling experience essential Ability to following working procedures Good communicator Ability to prioritise workloads Forklift truck license would be preferable but not essential PC literate preferable but not essential Flexible and trustworthy

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?

Full time permanent Monday - Friday position. Full time position, fixed contract, period to be agreed. Working conditions are standard warehouse operations Full maintained fleet of vehicles. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager
