Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver/Workshop Assistant to support our delivery operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and efficient deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role is essential for assisting in the transportation of goods and providing logistical support within our environment. The role will also include workshop duties.

Duties

Load and unloading goods from vehicles, ensuring safe handling of all items. Optimise delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with deliveries and address any issues that may arise. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the delivery vehicle and workshop area. Provide paperwork and documentation accurately. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer queries or concerns professionally. Assist with workshop duties.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a driving t is preferred, particularly as a delivery driver or van driver. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and customers. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment. A valid driving licence is required; additional qualifications for operating flatbed vehicles would be beneficial.
