Your Scotland Tour, Driver Guide

If you have a keen interest in all things Scottish, a flair for audience engagement and a love of driving - we may have your perfect job!

Your Scotland Tour provide custom written, guide driven tours throughout the entire country, typically across 3-5 days with some lasting as little as 1 day and as much as 14 days. Our driver guides provide dedicated transport between locations, information about the history, geography and buildings en route...and ultimately ensure our customers have a fantastic experience.

- Immediate start, hours will vary with seasonal demand.

Hours

- dependant on client demand, generally long days but rewarding, you're ensuring our clients have an awesome memory of Scotland. Tours can last between 1 day and 14 days therefore nights away from home will be required. Don't worry we'll book your B&B's for you.

Reward -

pay is based on a day rate, as and when the business has need of you. This role requires flexible working hours and offers flexibility as a result.

Duties include:

Driving clients throughout Scotland while talking about the history, culture, heritage and the land you are passing.

Our clients have a thirst for knowledge of all things Scottish and they'll expect you to be able to help them identify our flora and fauna, ancient landmarks, heritage locations and have balanced conversations about the politics, religion and a wide range of other subjects.

You may be asked to dine with clients and help them understand Scottish and European cuisine along with local food and drinks.

Keeping high specification, high value vehicles in top condition so clients always feel like they are the first passengers.

The Person:

Knowledge of Scottish history, culture and heritage, with an enthusiasm to share this with others

Excellent communication skills

Able to work autonomously to ensure our clients have the best and most memorable trip to Scotland.

Having customer service / care experience would be desirable as this is a very customer focused role.

Full UK driving licence, an advanced driving qualification would be a bonus. Our vehicles are currently insured for those with a clean licence with no accidents, claims or convictions. If you have less than 3 years driving experience are under 25 or over 70 our insurance company may refuse to cover you.
