You'll help deliver cutting-edge drone operations, including BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight), automated DJI Dock deployments, and heavy-lift drone delivery projects.

About the Role
As a
Drone Regulatory Specialist
, you'll work closely with our experienced regulatory team to deliver first-class client support and regulatory solutions.
In the early stages, you'll work alongside our lead specialist to learn Heliguy's processes and approach. Over time, you'll take on more independence, managing client projects, preparing applications, and collaborating on complex regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage Specific Operations Risk Assessment (SORA) applications and related regulatory submissions, including BVLOS and advanced drone operations.
Work closely with clients, guiding them through CAA approval processes and supporting their compliance journey.
Research, interpret, and apply evolving UK and international drone regulations.
Support the development of regulatory documentation, procedures, and training materials.
Collaborate on major projects, including DJI Dock deployments and emerging drone-in-a-box technologies.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Stay ahead of industry trends, upcoming regulatory changes, and technological advancements.
About You
We're looking for someone who's confident, driven, and detail-oriented, with a genuine interest in drone operations and aviation compliance.
Essential Skills & Experience:
A working knowledge of UK drone regulations and aviation compliance frameworks.
Understanding of risk assessments and safety considerations for UAS operations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to guide clients clearly and professionally.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality documentation.
Comfortable working with data, technical documents, and regulatory guidance materials.
Desirable (but not essential):
Hands-on experience preparing SORA, PDRA, or other regulatory submissions.
Experience with BVLOS operations or autonomous drone systems.
Familiarity with the CAA approval process or other aviation authorities.
GVC or A2 CofC certification.
