As part of our business, you will play a key role within the Cleaning and Care team, acting as the subject matter expert on pressing and delivering outstanding garment care to our clients. A core responsibility of this role is to contribute to the end to end cleaning and care process, in particular, ensuring garments are finished to the highest standard, with pressing and ironing being a critical component. Your expertise in handling a variety of fabrics and finishes will be essential in maintaining the quality and longevity of luxury garments. By ensuring every piece is impeccably pressed and presented, you will directly contribute to our commitment to excellence and sustainability.
Your responsibilities
Daily activities: End to end cleaning process from garment assessment, cleaning, ironing, quality control checks to packaging. Most of your day will have a specific focus on pressing.
Communication and coordination with the client facing team based in central London regarding order status updates & leadtimes etc.
Supply management: managing inventory of laundry products,?etc.
Atelier organisation: support the Operations Manager to optimise internal flows, space, and processes, etc.
Logistics: reception of incoming garments, labelling and sending back to Collection Hub
Administration: item tracking, status & comments, photos, leveraging digital tools
Machinery Maintenance: Take part in regular scheduled maintenance for all machinery onsite.
Knowledge, experience & skills required
Solid Experience in garment cleaning and pressing with good knowledge of the procedures, ideally familiar with luxury garments and standard.
At ease with complexity, willing to learn innovative technologies and extend knowledge, fast learner.
Ability to support other team members during peak periods or to provide coverage during annual leave.
Well organised, rigour, attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
Collaborative, excellent relationship and people management skills to engage the team
Able to use digital tools
