Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dry Liner/Boarder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing plasterboard and other materials to create smooth surfaces in various building projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction techniques and the ability to work effectively with a variety of tools and materials.

Duties

Install plasterboard and other lining materials to walls and ceilings, ensuring a high-quality finish. Prepare surfaces by measuring, cutting, and shaping materials as per specifications. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, including drills, saws, and sanders. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including those with skills in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, carpentry, masonry, and fabrication. Read and interpret construction schematics to ensure accurate installation. Perform plastering tasks to achieve smooth finishes on surfaces. Assist in construction painting as required to complete projects. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

Experience

Proven experience in dry lining or related construction roles is essential. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade. Ability to read and understand construction schematics is important for successful execution of duties. Previous experience in plastering and construction painting will be an advantage.
