We are currently recruiting a Drylining Trainee to join an active construction site in Richmond. This is an excellent opportunity to develop the skills needed for a Level 2 Drylining qualification while gaining hands-on experience with professional tradespeople in a supportive team environment.
You must live in Richmond, Kingston upon Thames, or Hounslow
to be eligible for this opportunity due to local borough employment requirements under Section 106.
Applicants who fail to answer the qualifying questions will not be progressed.
What You'll Do:
Assist with erecting plasterboard and drywall systems in line with site specifications
Measure, cut, and fix metal track systems and install insulation
Support with setting out and interpreting site drawings
Use basic hand and power tools under supervision
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
Participate in team-based tasks, including loading and moving materials
Learn the safe use of tools and correct storage of materials
Attend training and work towards your NVQ Level 2 in Drylining
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
Aged 18 or over
Must have a valid CSCS card
Level 1 Diploma in Construction or related subject preferred
Previous site experience desirable but not essential
Good numeracy and literacy
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
Enthusiastic, with a positive approach to teamwork and site safety
Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
