We're seeking compassionate and qualified professionals to provide one-to-one in person support for university students with specific learning difficulties (SpLD), helping them thrive academically and personally through tailored study.
We are hiring for Study Skills (SpLD)
Key Responsibilities
Study Skills Support (SS-SPLD):
Help students develop independent learning strategies
Improve academic writing, reading comprehension, and research skills
Support time management, organisation, and planning for deadlines
Encourage use of academic resources and referencing techniques
Create personalised action plans and track progress
Required Qualifications, one of the following:
The Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS). - Full membership, associate membership, affiliate professional.
British Dyslexia Association (BDA) - AMBDA, AMBDA RE/HE, Professional
The Association of Dyslexia Specialist in Higher Education (ADSHE) - Professional QA Tutor membership
Dyslexia Guild (DG) - Associate, Associate FE/HE, Member, Fellow.

Desirable Skills
Able to provide SS-ASC
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to tailor strategies to individual learning styles
Professionalism, punctuality, and confidentiality
Caseload management and accurate record-keeping
