Congleton High School are seeking to appoint an inspiring and committed DT Food Technician who will be working with the Design & Technology Food department, providing support for the food curriculum.

The role will involve dedicated food technology support - and experience in this field is essential. We are looking for someone that can provide support with food and lesson preparation, support in practical lessons, ensuring correct and safe use of cooking equipment is adhered to, cleaning of equipment and reporting on health and safety.

Previous experience of working in an educational environment is advantageous because you will need to be able to support students and staff in the workroom. A food technology/catering would be highly advantageous.

The post holder will be crucial in supporting students with their learning, development and progress in the food element of the Design and Technology curriculum.

Hours: 20 hours per week (Part time).

Working pattern: 5 or 4 mornings per week.

Weeks: 39 weeks per year (term time plus Inset Days)
