An innovative and high-achieving independent day school in Worcestershire is looking for a creative and well-organised Teacher of Design Technology to join its expanding department from January 2026.
The School

The Role
You'll teach DT across KS3-KS5, covering design principles, materials and manufacturing processes. The department promotes creativity through structured projects and practical problem-solving. Students work confidently with materials, CAD software and design portfolios, and many go on to study engineering, architecture or design at university.
The Department
The Design Technology faculty sits within the school's STEM hub, providing modern workshops, CAD suites and technical support. Collaborative planning and shared project development are key features of the department's success.

QTS or equivalent in DT or Engineering.
Strong understanding of design processes and project-based learning.
Organised, proactive and committed to quality teaching.
