Pro currently has an exciting opportunity to join its Delegated Underwriting Services team as a Bordereaux Processing Team Manager.
The job holder will manage a Client Team of up to 15 FTE and be responsible for meeting all Client service levels, deliverables and deadlines for the processing of Coverholder Risk, Premium and Claims bordereaux.
This is a permanent role managing a team based in our Gloucester office, however, a remote working arrangement will be considered for the right candidate.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Management/leadership of 10 to 15 staff.
Monitor KPIs and SLAs. Produce daily and weekly client reports, leading the weekly update calls. Arrange, drive and steer the Monthly and Quarterly Service Delivery and Client Governance meetings.
Monitor and manage the contract P&L. Responsibility for the contract gross margin.
Developing and building upon existing client relationships and being the main point of contact, dealing directly with clients in a collaborative and professional manner.
Responsible for optimising team structure, staff development and associated objective monitoring through the appraisal process, including overall Team Performance and individual PDP plans.
Manage the recruitment process and deliver training to new members of the team. Review and produce detailed and robust training plans for in office and remote training.
Provide hands on technical Quality Control support to ensure the team is achieving client SLA's.
Contribute to new business projects and support pitches. Support consultancy projects
Skills and Experience
Good understanding of London market systems and procedures.
An understanding of the Delegated Underwriting market and processes.
Experience in a similar role in the (re)insurance market. Within a Service Provider or an operations leadership role within a Managing Agent desirable.Strong leadership skills. Previous experience of managing a team essential.
Excellent technical skills and ability to prioritise the workload of the team to meet deadlines.
Good corporate financial awareness and pro-active understanding of team utilisation, together with experience of using workflow tools to monitor, measure and act upon performance management information.
Experience of Intrali or a similar bordereaux mapping system is desirable.
Excellent communication and people management skills essential.
Strong experience in working with Microsoft packages including Excel and PowerPoint.
Essential to be able to maintain a conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and clients.
