Summary
We are seeking a Dual Registered Children's Home Manager based in Chesterfield to lead two dedicated staffing teams in delivering exceptional care services, overseeing the everyday operations of a solo bed placement and dual bed placement. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that our children receive the highest standard of support tailored to their individual needs, contributing significantly to our mission of fostering a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of residential care services for children and young people.
Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child.
Lead, mentor, and supervise staff members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders to enhance service provision.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in child care.
Foster a safe, stimulating environment conducive to the development of young people.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care programs and make necessary adjustments.
Promote a culture of respect, dignity, and inclusion within the team.

Knowledge & Experience
Residential Childcare: 5 years (preferred)
Worked as a Registered Childrens Home Manager/Deputy Manager: 2 year (required)
Experience in managing complex behaviours (required)
Good awareness of Ofsted legislation (required)
Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in care management.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing children's services.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs.
Experience in training and supervising staff members.
Relevant qualifications in social work, childcare management or related fields.
Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (Required)
NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (Required)
NVQ Level 5 Leadership and Management Childrens residential or working towards
