We're supporting a leading mechanical contractor working on a major aviation project at
Gatwick Airport
, and due to continued expansion on site, we're looking for a reliable and experienced
Duct Fitter's Mate
to join the team.
This is a long-term opportunity offering job security, consistent hours, and involvement in one of the South East's most active infrastructure projects.
The Role
As a Duct Fitter's Mate, you'll support the Duct Fitters with:
Handling and moving ductwork materials
Assisting with installation and fixings
Preparing and organising tools/equipment
Working safely in a fast-paced, secure airport environment
General labouring duties as required
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
Valid
CSCS card
Experience working alongside duct fitters or within M&E environments (preferred)
Ability to pass a DBS check
- essential due to strict airport security
Ability to provide
work references
Eligibility to work in the UK
Full PPE
