Ductwork Project Manager - Mechanical Contractor (London)

The Role

We're looking for an experienced

Ductwork Project Manager

to take full ownership of ductwork packages on large commercial builds (typically 1m+ in value).
You'll manage from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring quality, programme, and client satisfaction are delivered to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities:

Oversee the full ductwork package from procurement through installation and commissioning. Manage site teams, subcontractors, and supervisors to maintain safety, quality, and programme. Coordinate closely with main contractors, design teams, and mechanical leads. Track variations, progress, and commercial performance. Ensure all works meet project specifications, technical standards, and QA documentation.

About You

You'll already have delivered large ductwork projects and understand what it takes to bring mechanical packages in on time and to spec.

Essential:

? Proven experience managing ductwork installations on large commercial projects (1m+)
? Strong technical understanding of HVAC / airside systems
? Ability to coordinate with main contractors, engineers, and fabrication teams
? Excellent leadership and communication skills
? SMSTS / CSCS and relevant H&S certifications

Preferred:

Previous experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 M&E contractors Experience across multiple sectors (office fit-out, healthcare, education, data centres, etc.)
