Ductwork And Sheet Metal Work Labourer
Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our sheet metal workshop team. The successful candidate will support fabricators, machine operators, and by carrying out general labouring duties, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and helping ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Operate workshop equipment safely and efficiently, including basic tools and machinery used in sheet metal fabrication.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment through regular housekeeping duties (sweeping, waste disposal, organising tools and materials).
Collect materials from suppliers and deliver finished goods using a flat-bed truck, ensuring accurate documentation and safe loading/unloading.
Skills & Requirements
Previous experience in a workshop, construction, or industrial environment preferred, but not essential.
Ability to lift and move sheet metal and other materials safely.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Good work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
Basic understanding of hand tools and workshop equipment (training provided).
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.
Driving licence is essential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From 13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
